How Did He Do It?

WEB April 12; How did Jesus do it?

Have you ever watched the TV program, How do they do it? Exactly. How do they do it? Nano technology finds its way in machines, medicine and mankind. In minute detail they describe nanoseconds, the length of it in nanometers, nano particles which are sub-atomic so that you can store the entire Library of Congress into one sugar cube, nano computers that are smaller than a cell in your body so that it can scan your entire physical body. A neutrino is a nano particle that is trillions times smaller than the atoms that pass straight through with the approximate speed of light, 300.000 km. per second at the Minerva Neutrino Detector in Batavia, Ill. These neutrinos, blasted through the earth, were coded with a message send to the other side. They, as I write, discovered another particle, totally different than the rest, the Marojana particle.

How do they do it? Where do they get all this nanotechnology from? Well, give man’s mind time and opportunity and room to maneuver and they will develop IT. They tell me that whatever I can dream of exists already. And that is fantastic, won’t you agree with me?

I do not dream of eternal death. That makes no sense whatsoever. But I do dream of eternal life. So, what about life eternal where space and time and matter come in different forms than today? In eternal life there can not be any death and decay. Therefore IT, eternal life, must be different.

I ask myself, what about all those concepts that we take as normal such as life and death? If there was a beginning and there is progress, will there also be an end or will we end up in a different dimension when nanometers and nano seconds do no longer exist? Does it matter or do you say, never mind. Life is kind to me and therefore I can not be bothered with all that scientific research and discoveries?

Yet, the question begs: What I can dream of already exists. Intriguing! As I said, Eternal life is my hope and dream. It does exist. In a nano second I will get from here where death reigns to there where eternal life reigns. My question is how do I get there? Who will get me there? How will He do it?

We have just celebrated Easter, the resurrection of Jesus Who happens to be the eternal Son of God, the Creator of space (our own galaxy the Milky Way has already hundreds of billions of stars) and time and matter. Since God, per definition, can not be selfish and since He conquered death on the cross He will share His victory over death and therefore eternal life with people who believe in Him and belong to Him. My dreams will/have become reality. Jesus fulfills my dreams of eternal life. In keeping with His promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth. If you have a Bible at home try to find and read Peter’s second letter chapter 3:8 to the end and we wish you not just sweet dreams but a happy ending, eternal life in Jesus and stand amazed how Jesus did it.
